Cameron This Time Round...

My last trip to Cameron, I remember standing at the side of the road. With tears in my eyes.

This trip to Cameron, it was with 80 other people. Thankfully out of 80 other people, 6 are family. My mom, my dad, my sis, my bro in law, Lis and her younger sis, LT.

It was Tom's birthday and mom's staff retreat.

One night stay, me, Lis and LT in one room. I slept on the floor. Dad slept on the sofa. Tom and Jerri took up one room. Mom along with 3 other aunties in the master bedroom.

It was a long and tiring weekend. The itinerary was packed with empty pockets of time in between. We did the usual sightseeing, this time with no Tsu-Chi in between. No quiet moments no reflections. What we had was plenty of mushroom and corn.

Don't ask.

It was cold. And I hate cold. I'm just not a cold person. I was irritated. But being my father's daughter, I had my stash of brandy with me. Kill me. Haha! Or else I probably wouldn't have been able to sleep.
