Not The First Time
It's not the first time this song is on my blog. It is my favourite song from Sade.
I remember sitting on The Couch listening to this song and crystalising. Now, I don't give myself the chance. I don't go to The Couch.
My chances of foing to The Couch is pretty slim. Yap, pretty and slim.
So I don't do it anymore.
I was just talking to Deslex yesterday. And he talked about me registering pattern.
Yeah, I'm an easy book to read.
"Ya right! You're one of the most misunderstood ... err.. complicated person there ever is!"
Nope. Well, if I'm not easy to read... read my blog!
Okay. So I know Deslex comes here.
He's been trying to preach and comfort since I was 18! I still have the first poem he ever wrote for me. In his tiny barely legible lawyer's handwriting.
I have not seen Chairwoman since her quickly decided trip to The Land of Cheap DVDs. Anyone who knows me, knows I am very attached to The Land of Cheap DVDs. That was how I first got Jack.... AND the entire collection of Sex & The City.
Anyway, if you leave me all alone in town, yes, I will take a bus to go find my family in The Land of Cheap DVDs. If you leave me all alone to wonder the town in The Land of Cheap DVDs, yes, I will return with shoes and clothes! (and after a few taxi rides, many much broke)
So she did the weekend thing. 3 pax. Out of town by 5 am. Crossing the bridge at 10 and sent me a picture. Sigh!
Spent Friday night out partying. Saturday night (earlier part of the night) DVD shopping, and partying (again) and Sunday, sleep-in. Bliss.
Just absolute bliss.
Plus, she also stayed where I did last when I had my crazy The Land of Cheap DVD weekend.
(the time before I took the bus solo to Penang)
So what happened? It's been a week and I finally caught up with Chairwoman.
I miss us talking and I miss us updating each other.
Work is just the damnest thing that gets in the way. After a few slaps on my wrist with "choy"s and touching wood, she made me leave the Con desk. She was laughing so hard she was sneezing. And she pulled it off. (You know, like that time Qert did the great long burp)
Anyway, Deslex, I know you're reading this. And this posting, you will be able to tell. And you will be able to read. This creature of habit is registering patterns. I'll be easy to read again.
Read me from +606!
Read me from +4930!
*draws a square around my face (oxymoron?)
Does this looks like a face that cares?

Transcend lucidity into obscurity,
what matters left in tatters
Familiarity perpetual enmity
Best you just have tea with the Mad Hatter
