Kimi Conquers Melbourne
Kimi conquered Melbourne in red.
For once, the Iceman is not pale! Thanks to the new car, the new move, the new season. Kimi ends up on podium! With a car that didn't break down. With a car that didn't blow up.
And for the first time, Kimi finishes the race without any walking.
On Sunday 18th March, I woke up thinking of the race at 2.00 pm. Without realising the time difference, the race at my time would be 11.00 am. Stupid!
A quick check on text confirms, I'm late!!
Byt the time I got in front of the TV, it was Lap 6. With update of Kimi leading by 6 seconds. Ha ha ha!!
World Champion, Alonso, was fighting with rookie team mate Hamilton for 2nd and 3rd place. Hah! There you go. Alonso is no longer in blue. He's now with ex-Keep Walking and ex-Fly Emirates : McLaren Mercedez. Here. Go. Take this and fly with it. If you still finishes as World Champion, congratulations. But rest assured, Kimi will be there at every step of the way!
My loyalty, didn't stay with the team Kimi was on. It stays with Kimi. And my mini Kimi Shrine, is now in the wrong colour.
Team mate, Massa, gave a good fight. And ends up with points. Good, for someone who starts past 10 on grid.
It's going to be a good season. I could tell.
I'm so glad F1 season starts again. And I'm so glad the weekends are going to be filled with colours again.
I'm not glad that F1 timing makes me miss CSI Supreme Sunday at 12 noon slot. I'm not glad that due to making space for F1 race, makes me give up Jack Bauer.
The last episode I stopped on 24, is still the last episode I stopped on 24. And that is 2 weeks ago.
(If that sentence made sense at all)
But eitherway, Kimi looks good in red. Looks good on podium. And maybe this time I don't have to leave the race early since Kimi's crashed!
Here's to a great start for Kimi. Cheers!!
Yup, I provided live update. Thanks for providing coffee.
